The prize is presented annually to outstanding practices that show initiative and innovation when it comes to integrating renewables into the grid. Jury members found WiseGRID particularly impressive because of its relevance in today’s energy landscape and its likelihood to provide a set of solutions and technologies to increase the smartness, stability and security of an open, consumer-centric European energy grid.
